Which format is ideal?
Our
printing company in Budapest essentially offers four versions, which customers order from us according to their budget, delivery logistics or other marketing considerations.
Naturally, every version fulfils its purpose because each must meet the fundamental requirements of use. As shown below, the differences were also developed in response to the needs expressed by our partners.
SINGLE-BLOCK FORMAT
The calendar body displays the dates on 12 connected sheets, providing an overview of three or four months on each page.
The dated sheets can be detached along the perforation beneath the header. The header itself contains the company images and information.
The basic single-block format cannot be folded, although we also manufacture a version that can be folded to envelope size. The price list on our product page shows the standard version and makes it available for ordering.
MULTI-MONTH CALENDAR production specifications and prices
CONCERTINA FORMAT
As the picture shows, its name comes from its construction. The dated sections fold beneath one another like a concertina, allowing the customer to pack the multi-month calendars into standard postal envelopes.
In terms of date layout, we manufacture versions covering three or four months, and they can be ordered accordingly from the product page even in small production quantities. Every product is supplied with a sliding date marker.
How is a corporate multi-month calendar made?
After the design and customer approval stage, printing begins for the dated sections and the backing—the calendar body itself. These naturally correspond to the type ordered, and the subsequent finishing and assembly are carried out accordingly.
The calendar pages for the single-block format go into a perforating machine, where the intermittent cuts required for detaching the sheets are created. The header, cardboard backing and connected calendar pages are then stapled together.
For the concertina format, the backing is creased at several points to form the folding edges. The separate calendar sections are first glued with industrial adhesive and, once dry, are attached to the body to form a single unit. Here the sections detach along the glue line rather than a perforation.
Both versions receive a red sliding date marker and a metal eyelet through which the calendar can be hung.
