2. FUNDAMENTAL PROVISIONS

2.1. Hungarian law governs matters not regulated by these Terms and their interpretation, in particular Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce and information-society services, and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on contracts between consumers and businesses. Mandatory statutory provisions apply without a separate clause.

2.2. These Terms have been effective since 23 February 2016 and remain in force until withdrawn. The Service Provider may amend them unilaterally and publishes amendments eleven days before they take effect. By using the websites, users accept all applicable website rules.

2.3. Anyone visiting or reading a website operated by the Service Provider accepts these Terms, whether registered or not. A user who does not accept them may not view the content.

2.4. All rights in the website, its components, content and distribution are reserved. Downloading, electronically storing, processing or selling any content without prior written consent is prohibited.

3. REGISTRATION, ORDERING AND PURCHASE

3.1. By registering or ordering, the user confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Notice and consent to the applicable processing.

3.2. Users must provide their own accurate details. Registration with false details or another person’s data makes the electronic contract void. The Service Provider is not liable where a user acts in another person’s name.

3.3. The Service Provider is not liable for delays or errors caused by incorrect or incomplete user data.

3.4. The Service Provider is not liable for loss caused by a forgotten password or unauthorised access arising for reasons outside its control.

4. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AVAILABLE

4.1. Prices are stated in Hungarian forints and VAT is shown separately. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude delivery and any additional service agreed while processing the order. No separate packaging fee is charged.

4.2. Product and service names and descriptions are displayed on the website. If a promotion is introduced, the Service Provider provides information about its terms and duration.

5. ORDER INFORMATION AND PROCESS

5.1–5.5. The primary purpose of serverline.hu is to promote and sell the listed print products and related services. An order request can be submitted through the relevant order panel or another contact channel. Submission is initially a non-binding declaration of intent transmitted to the Service Provider. Requests are processed in order of receipt; the detailed confirmation sets out production and service parameters and the gross price.

5.6–5.10. When graphic design is ordered, the user must provide all necessary text, images and other files. Design fees depend on the product and are shown on its page. The price includes the first design and no more than two rounds of changes; further changes are charged by agreement. Work completed in accordance with the stated conditions must be paid for. The design fee remains payable if the user later cancels or postpones production.

5.11–5.16. Confirmations and designs are sent to the supplied email address unless another written contact is agreed. Approval or correction requests must be given in writing, normally by email. Written approval makes the request a firm order and production may begin; it can no longer be changed. Finished products may be collected at an agreed time or delivered, with delivery outside the production lead time and normally taking no more than two business days. Where intentional or grossly negligent performance by the Service Provider is proven, or the product does not match the confirmed specifications, the customer is not required to pay. The Service Provider may decline unidentifiable or otherwise unfulfillable requests without detailed reasons.

5.17–5.21. A user may purchase after signing in or without registration, selects the product quantity and properties, adds items to the cart, reviews them, and may remove or edit them before submission. Where no cart is available, the relevant fields are used to specify the product.

5.22. Payment methods include cash on collection in Hungarian forints, bank transfer to the account stated in the confirmation (normally within three days), cash on delivery where offered, and online card payment through OTP Mobil/SimplePay following the detailed confirmation. Collection is available from the Budapest customer service office. Nationwide delivery is charged according to product weight; the applicable price is communicated before final confirmation.

5.23–5.27. The Service Provider may correct website product or pricing errors and will promptly inform the customer, who may reconfirm or withdraw. The confirmed total includes all costs. Before submission, users may review and correct data and add notes. An automatic email acknowledges submission. If no acknowledgement arrives within the reasonably expected period and no later than 48 hours, the user is released from the offer or contractual obligation. The Service Provider is not responsible where delivery fails because of an incorrect address, a full mailbox or mail-server failure.

6. PROCESSING AND PERFORMANCE

Orders are processed during opening hours; orders submitted later are processed on the following working day. Customer service confirms the expected performance time electronically. Production time depends on quantity and specifications and is generally five business days, but may be individually agreed. Print-ready artwork and, in some cases, payment affect the start date. Subject to all conditions being met, performance is due no later than thirty days after the order reaches the Service Provider.

7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Under Directive 2011/83/EU and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the consumer has no right of withdrawal for non-prefabricated goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. The Service Provider principally creates personalised custom products, so this exception applies. Links to the relevant Hungarian decree and EU directive are provided for reference.

8. WARRANTY

For defective performance, users may exercise statutory warranty rights under the Hungarian Civil Code. They may request repair or replacement unless impossible or disproportionately costly; otherwise they may request a proportionate price reduction, arrange repair at the business’s cost or, as a last resort, terminate the contract. A change between remedies may involve costs unless justified or caused by the business.

The defect must be reported promptly and no later than two months after discovery; statutory rights may not be exercised beyond the applicable two-year limitation period. Within the statutory presumption period, proof of purchase or service is sufficient; afterwards the user must prove that the defect existed at performance.

For product warranty, the user may request only repair or replacement from the manufacturer or distributor and must prove the defect. A product is defective if it fails applicable quality requirements or the manufacturer’s description. Product-warranty rights expire two years after placement on the market. The manufacturer is exempt only if the product was not made or distributed in business activity, the defect could not be detected according to the state of science and technology at the time, or it resulted from mandatory law. The same defect cannot simultaneously support both accessory and product warranty claims.

No warranty covers natural wear, negligent handling after risk passes, excessive load, external effects outside specification or other improper use.

9. PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

Consumer rights may not be reduced by agreement. The consumer must prove the contract, for example with an invoice or receipt. Warranty performance costs are borne by the Service Provider. A record is made of each claim and a copy is provided promptly. If the Service Provider cannot decide immediately, it gives a reasoned response, including information about conciliation where rejected, within five business days. Records are retained for three years and repair or replacement should be completed within fifteen days where possible.

10. MISCELLANEOUS

The Service Provider may use subcontractors and is responsible for their unlawful conduct as for its own. Invalidity of one provision does not affect the remainder. Failure to exercise a right is not a waiver; a waiver is valid only when expressly made in writing. The parties seek to resolve disputes amicably.

11. COMPLAINT HANDLING

Complaints may be made by telephone, email or post. Oral complaints are investigated immediately where possible; otherwise a written record is made and a copy supplied. Written complaints are answered with reasons within thirty days. Records and replies are retained for five years. If rejected, the consumer may contact the competent authority or conciliation body. The Service Provider cooperates in conciliation proceedings. Cross-border disputes concerning online sales or services are handled by the competent Budapest conciliation body. Consumers may also use the applicable EU online dispute-resolution facilities where available.

12. COPYRIGHT

The websites are protected works. Copying, republishing, using, storing, processing or selling content without written permission is prohibited. Even with permission, material may be used only with a reference to the source website. All rights in services, domains and advertising areas are reserved. Adaptation, reverse engineering, unfair creation of user credentials, or applications that modify or index the websites are prohibited. Unauthorised use may lead to the contractual penalties stated in the governing Hungarian Terms. Some photographs, lifestyle scenes and product-use images are AI-generated illustrations; persons and places shown are fictional and illustrate possible uses.

13. DATA PROTECTION

The Privacy Notice is available on the English privacy page and in the governing Hungarian version.

14. OUTBOUND LINKS

The Service Provider is not responsible for the current content of external websites. It rejects illegal, obscene or demoralising material but cannot continuously monitor external content. No illegal content was identified when links were created; the Operator cannot be responsible for later changes.

15. PARTNER PROGRAMME AND OTHER DISCOUNTS

The partner programme may provide a 5% discount on order totals. Eligibility is set individually by authorised staff and confirmed by email. The Service Provider may refuse a discount in a particular case but informs the customer before performance, allowing withdrawal without consequence. Other coupon, promotional-code or campaign discounts may also be offered. They cannot normally be combined with the partner discount unless expressly approved. Some discounts are applied only when invoicing. The Service Provider may withdraw an advertised discount, in which case the related order may be cancelled without consequence. Terms for discounts not redeemable online are sent by email after application.
