DESK CALENDAR – your company within arm's reach

Sales is a professionally demanding activity that determines a company's financial turnover and, with it, its future. Advertising and other forms of promotion are generally regarded as the most suitable tools. At the same time, the company image—the process of establishing a good reputation—must not be overlooked. It builds trust, which leads to customer loyalty, and together these generate further turnover.

Corporate desk calendars are traditional printed marketing tools. Their practicality remains outstanding even in the digital age, because a glance at a fully visible month is faster than opening the calendar application on a digital device. The ability to write notes also provides significant help to the user.

But how does it effectively support marketing?

Naturally, it is the design that allows a corporate desk calendar to meet these marketing requirements. Company details, the logo and corporate photographs displayed on the calendar pages remain in front of the user throughout the year, becoming familiar and keeping the company in mind.
The gesture of giving a calendar also creates a positive emotional impression, building the prestige of the company that provides it.

What does advertising psychology tell us? The more often we encounter a message, the more firmly it becomes embedded in our minds.
When a purchasing need arises, the search for a supplier is much easier if the customer remembers our company because we have communicated successfully and frequently—in other words, because they have regularly encountered our brand and communication elements.
This is why advertisements are repeated in a series and sometimes even pushed insistently.

We can therefore appreciate how important a corporate calendar is in this respect. The target audience encounters it almost every day. In fact, recipients voluntarily place it in their office, on their desk, and every glance meets the identifying features and visual elements of our company.

How is a corporate desk calendar made?

Depending on whether the customer wants a WEEKLY or MONTHLY date layout, graphic design is the first production stage. At this point the designer balances practical use with the presentation of corporate elements for brand-building purposes. This means the combination of the logo, text and images mentioned above. In other words, the corporate message must remain clearly visible alongside the primary function.

Once reviewed and approved by the customer, the graphic design moves into the printing phase. The paper appropriate for the chosen type is used as the printing medium. Our printing company in Budapest essentially recommends two types of paper for this purpose, although both the page count and the medium can naturally differ from these recommendations.

Monthly layout
MONTHLY desk calendar

This version is produced on 150 gsm matt coated paper. This is used because the main consideration for a monthly layout is an overview of the month rather than the ability to write notes.
The added value of coated paper in this case is its exclusive appearance.

The calendar contains 12 dated pages plus a cover.
Metal twin-loop wire binding, mounted on a rigid supporting base.

WEEKLY desk calendar

This version is produced on 100 gsm uncoated paper, which can be written on with pencil or pen without smudging.
Naturally, the days of the week are the focus here, with writable cells for each day and a separate area created specifically for additional notes.

The calendar contains 52 dated pages plus a cover.
Metal twin-loop wire binding, mounted on a rigid supporting base.

After printing, the semi-finished calendar continues its production journey in the bindery. The first stage of assembly is binding—in this case, metal twin-loop wire binding. After the calendar sheets have been punched, the binding machine joins the pages with metal wire, making the desk calendar stable and easy to turn.
The process concludes by placing it on a support—or base, if you prefer—made of very rigid board, completing the ordered product.

The well-practised and logical production sequence provides customers with fast and reliable fulfilment. Before the full run, they may even request a finished prototype to inspect the final quality.

We also manufacture desk calendars in smaller order quantities. Detailed specifications and prices are provided on the dedicated product page.
