Choose the right construction

The compact single-block design is economical. A three- or four-panel concertina layout gives each month its own section and folds for mailing. Use the header for a strong logo, contact information and one clear visual message.

Single-block construction

In the single-block version, twelve connected sheets show three or four months at a time. Pages are removed along a perforation beneath the advertising header. This standard construction remains open at full size, although a foldable, envelope-friendly version can also be produced on request.

Concertina construction

Separate calendar sections fold beneath one another like an accordion, allowing the product to fit into a conventional postal envelope. Three- and four-month layouts are available, and each calendar receives a red date slider for quick orientation.

Choosing between the available constructions

Our Budapest printing company offers several versions so the decision can follow budget, mailing logistics and marketing objectives. Every construction provides the essential planning function; the differences respond to how customers want to distribute, display and use the product.

The standard single-block calendar displays dates on twelve connected sheets, giving a three- or four-month overview on each page. Pages detach along a perforation beneath the header. The basic form cannot be folded for mailing, although an envelope-sized folding version can be produced separately.

The concertina version takes its name from the way the dated sections fold beneath one another. This makes the complete calendar small enough for a traditional postal envelope. We produce both three- and four-month layouts and can manufacture relatively small quantities. Every unit includes a date slider.

Once the artwork is approved, the dated segments and backing are printed. Single-block sheets are perforated and stapled to the header and backing. For the concertina version, fold lines are creased into the backing and the separately glued calendar blocks are mounted after drying. The sections detach along their glue line rather than a perforation. Both versions receive a red date marker and a metal eyelet for hanging.
